I had thought about only wearing my Noosa shoes for the actual race on Sunday and running in my other shoes otherwise but in the end didn't do that due to the warm weather and not wanting to have to wear my large bag - a big mistake as I fucked up my right calf in Sunday's warm down so took a 3 day break, the first 2 days of which was no problem at all as I was very tired. Today decided to see what the situation was esp. as I was up so early due to not being physically tired. Had a Ps before I started and one during, a reflection of not running for 3 days. Started off very carefully and did sth which I don't normally ever do - look at my km splits and that's why I got faster wanting to break 34 mins - 4.54,4.49,4.55,4.46,4.46,4.34,4.28,15.3 av.
